Gate of Hope continues its women's empowerment program in Samangan province, distributing more sewing machines to help Afghan women build sustainable livelihoods and achieve economic self-reliance.
In Samangan province, another group of women gathered to receive a sewing machine from Gate of Hope Charity Foundation. This distribution is part of an ongoing effort to equip Afghan women with practical tools that can turn skill into income, and to expand the reach of a program that is already helping women support their families across northern Afghanistan.
Samangan remains one of the provinces where women's economic opportunities are severely limited. Formal jobs are scarce, and cultural and logistical barriers often make it impossible for women to work outside the home.
