HPSA Project: Appreciation Letter from GOH-Afghanistan to War Child Canada

Gate of Hope extends its gratitude to War Child Canada for their collaboration on the HPSA Project — a testament to the power of international partnership in humanitarian work.

Gate of Hope Afghanistan formally extended its appreciation to War Child Canada for their shared work on the HPSA (Holistic Psychosocial Support and Assistance) Project. This collaboration represents a significant chapter in Gate of Hope's ongoing efforts to address the psychosocial needs of Afghanistan's most vulnerable children and families.

The HPSA Project brought together the complementary strengths of both organizations — Gate of Hope's deep local knowledge and community trust, and War Child Canada's expertise in psychosocial programming and international best practices for child welfare in conflict-affected settings.

The results of the collaboration were meaningful: children and families who had experienced trauma found structured, compassionate support; community facilitators were trained in psychosocial first aid; and a model was developed that could be replicated across Afghanistan's most affected provinces.

Gate of Hope's formal letter of appreciation to War Child Canada was more than a courtesy — it was a public acknowledgment of the power of principled partnership, and an open invitation to continue building the international alliances that Afghanistan's communities need to heal and grow.
