Officials of professional workshops supported by Gate of Hope convened for a pivotal gathering focused on recognition, development, and expanding the scope of skilled trades.
The Gate of Hope (G.O.H) Afghanistan charity foundation recently convened a crucial meeting of the officials of professional workshops supported by the organization. This pivotal gathering, held on the 9th of Jadi, 1402 of the Hijri calendar, was a landmark event celebrating the introduction of the professional representative of Kabul province and the issuance of identity cards to master artisans in the institution's database.
The event was graced by distinguished figures: the respected Ajmal Aryan, head of professional programs at Gate of Hope; Alhaj Ahmad Masih Rahmani, representative of Kabul province; and Dr. Mohammad Hamed Yousufzai, the professional deputy. Also present were Ms. Zaheda Kohestani and Ms. Parmila Amiri, representing the women of Kabul.
The meeting was a convergence of over 65 professional masters and entrepreneurs. The issuance of identity cards was more than a formal procedure — it was a recognition of their skills, a validation of their professions, and a step toward integrating them more firmly into the economic fabric of the country.
Discussions revolved around professional development, challenges faced by artisans and entrepreneurs, and strategies for market expansion and sustainability. This event was a testament to Gate of Hope's commitment to nurturing professional skills and entrepreneurship — building a robust network of skilled artisans equipped with the recognition and tools necessary to succeed.
